The Beauty of Story Telling
Monica studies & creates retellings of folk tales, fairy tales, legends and lore from various cultures around the world, occasionally sharing a personal story or two. Her style is a blend of porch telling, family dinner table talks and her experience in small theatre. She creates an engaging interactive storytelling experience that transcends all ages from the young child to the young at heart, performing throughout the state of Florida at festivals, libraries, museums and schools.

About the “Storytainer”
Known in the area as the “Storytainer”, Monica Ladd has worked and volunteered as an educator and entertainer in schools and libraries with children and adults for over 30 years. She has a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in the arts, communication and education. Monica Ladd is a longtime resident of south Florida, raising two daughters in the area.

Monica provides educational workshops to teachers and librarians. She has also provided workshops and coaching to business professionals, doctors, nurses and lawyers who would like to communicate and connect with clients through personal narratives that creates potential for a long term relationship.
